Did you know that it’s already time to start thinking about what you need to do to get your house ready for spring and summer? Sure, there may be snow on the ground or a cold breeze in the air, but thinking about these things will help make sure your home gets the TLC it needs this spring.
Here’s a partial checklist of the things you should make sure get done around your house by spring:
- Test your sprinkler lines. Even if you emptied them out properly, they can crack or break during the winter. Having them pressure-tested every few years ensures optimal sprinkler functioning.
- Get your A/C serviced. Call in a professional to check over your A/C visually, test each part, and let you know if there’s anything you need to fix so it can work well all summer long. Schedule now to make sure we can fit you in before you need to run your air conditioner!
- Clean out your gutters. Fall leaves can wreak havoc when spring rains come. If you haven’t cleaned out your gutters yet, get it done so all of that water can flow freely the next time it rains.
- Clean out your dryer vent. A clogged vent can cause all sorts of problems, from inefficient dry cycles to house fires. Clean yours out at least twice a year – once in the fall and once in the spring!
